Those were the days before the lockdown, when a New Year's Eve party was allowed to end in a two-week living room recording session - this is how the new EP by Kenneth Minor came into being in January, which, according to its genesis, is entitled “Living Room Sessions”. Four songs that did not really fit into the context of the album "On My Own", which was only released in 2019, or were written after its completion.
Bird Christiani's songs meet the New York musician Gregg Weiss, with whom in the past few years, after a few joint concerts, a friendship has developed - and now led to a fruitful musical cooperation.
The basis: a couple of guitars, an upright bass, a banjo, a drum, some recording equipment and two different perspectives.
